Itineraries of Nature and Wildlife

From the dense chestnut woods to the most impressive peaks, from the roar of impetuous torrents to the perfect silence of eternal glaciers, luxuriant conifer woods to vividly coloured flowers, which bloom as they cling to the earth, where the vegetation becomes increasingly sparse as it adapts to the gelid and freezing temperatures at high altitudes, the natural heritage of the Valmalenco is one of the most important and most spectacular in the province of Sondrio.

It is a mosaic of natural environments where the visitor is very welcome.

A carefully planned trekking network, which partly follows the ancient paths and roads used by the people of the Valmalenco, offers visitors of all ages the opportunity to walk through the valley and enjoy nature which is, for the most part, completely untouched.
